Direct Primary Care Memberships
Direct Primary Care (DPC) is a different way to get primary care. FAQ
Should I cancel my insurance if I get an Exceed membership?
No—don’t cancel your insurance just because you join a DPC membership. It’s a good idea to keep major medical coverage for hospital visits, emergency care, or specialists. Many members pair their Exceed membership with a more economical insurance plan, since their day-to-day primary care is already covered through membership. This way, you’re covered for both regular visits and any emergency or specialty care.
Will I have to pay a separate fee for labs or other procedures?
Yes, but at the discounted fees! For any other costs, we provide transparent pricing upfront so there are no surprise bills for you.
What is the age limit for becoming a member of the DPC plan?
Patients aged 3 and older can receive direct primary care at Exceed Health Clinic. Our goal is to provide preventive care and ensure overall well-being of each and every community member of Texarkana and the rest of East Texas.
Do you accept Medicare, Medicaid, or VA insurance?
No. Per state regulations for Direct Primary Care, we cannot bill or accept payment from Medicare, Medicaid, or VA insurance.
Can I use my HSA to pay for membership?
Yes—beginning January 1, 2026, HSA funds can be used to pay for your Exceed membership, making your membership cost even more efficient since you’re paying with pre-tax dollars.
